Dana Lawrence Gillis
has been an educator since ’99 and has two decades-worth of combined classroom experience teaching grades preK-8, academics, music and foreign language. She has a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and Civilization, cum laude. She is a singer/songwriter and performing musician, playing guitar and composing original songs for all ages. She is fluent in French, conversant in Spanish and has played various instruments since the age of 2, including percussion, piano and violin.
